For this typical wine, the grapes are dried on straw-mats or hung on wooden
slats. Afterwards the grapes produce a relative small quantity of a sweet wine
(15-17%) which can be kept for a long time (100 years). It is best served as
an aperitif or dessertwine, as well as with "foie gras".
